An Italian company belonging to an American multinational that, with a turnover of approximately 20 billion dollars and 85,000 employees, is present in more than 40 countries worldwide and has been operating in the industrial automation sector for more than 130 years. The plant is located in the North of Italy, occupies a covered area of over 65,000 sqm and had around 90 redundancies.

Why we intervened

As a result of a reorganization of the production structure on a global scale, the group had planned to close the plant producing industrial valves, including large valves. We were asked to identify an industrial player with compatible business, interested in developing its activity by taking over the asset and re-employing the people.

How we intervened

- Feasibility analysis and reindustrialization project; - National and international search for potential taking over companies; - Support to due diligence activities; - Support to negotiations with various counterparts involved; - Participation in Trade Union meetings.
