The Company: The company is a multinational operating in the sector of electric devices and plastic components, which is present in Italy with a number of productive plants and a distribution chain all over the territory. The focus of our intervention is a plant employing about 170 people where the company manufactures finished products for the parent company, as well as components for other leader companies in specific areas of the same sector (OEM)

The Parent company wanted to relocate the national production abroad, shutting down the activities of the aforementioned plant. Following the aims of a sustainable restructuring, we were charged with the mission to find a new actor, operating in the industry sector with a matching business, willing to develop its activities buying out the assets and recruiting the personnel, with a phase-out deal.

The outcome

A company engaged in plastic molding for the production of casing for portable batteries acquired the company in 2018 absorbing the 140 employees of the site.
